SABRE TANK a new custom painted toy

Still at work, and here's proof.

I rarely update this blog lately... if you didn't notice none of the shirt links on the right side work anymore - companies going out of business, canceling printing, ect.

My newest creation is Continuing the quest to create characters through painting vinyl toys. SabreTANK was created using two different Kid Robot brand toys, then using traditional paints and posca markers. It's very inspired from cartoons of the 80's    -    Take a moment to stop by BEHANCE and check out all the shots

Agent Orange - a KidRobot custom painted Vinyl toy

Finished another Kid Robot vinyl toy - painted in the likeness of theJCW character "Agent Orange" from a sold dimensional painting and character sketch. whipped together with traditional acrylics and Posca markers.

First MightyMug D.I.Y.

Finished another custom this weekend. I decided to try out a Hasbro DIY the MightyMug - http://www.hasbro.com/mightymuggs/ - At first I kept thinking that the form was annoying compared to the fun KidRobot figures but in the end it turned out pretty fun.

I love it when fun artists make toys and I cannot help but get them.

Chumps (Frank Kozik...ok, not my fav but I like the toy)

Qee (Gary baseman....does some strange art but the technique and style I enjoy)
Strangecos Vivisect playset (Amanda Visell, she does a lot of cheerful spirited work with a fun little dark twist)
also -Strangecos Vivisect playset (Luke Chueh, Does bloody work with poor bears but also has a good style)
Last: another Frank Kozik chump...not the biggest fan, but I like the toy
